One dumb quip by Bill Simmons (his specialty) inspires an even dumber article which adds absolutely zero to the discussion.

I will say this. I read a Review of Treasures before coming to Houston. And everything in that glorious review happened to my shock, right down to me and my friend being asked if we were cops. It was ridiculous how dead on it was. and it was a gooood time.

That said, no way a strip club would define a decision here. and if anything, Dwight would have his choice fly traps in LA.

It would be ridiculously ironic if Dwight left Los Angeles for Houston because he likes fake breasts.

Seriously though, if Dwight Howard made his choice because of the strip clubs in Houston, I'm not sure you'd want to build a team around such a player.

I haven't hit up the strip clubs in Houston before, but are they better than Vegas (LA's most famous suburb)? Do they turn tricks in the back rooms? Just wondering if I should check out the strip clubs in Houston. How much are BJs and how much is sex? The recession has brought the cost down in Vegas a bit, but Vegas strippers still think they are the s$%t.

That said, why would someone give up premiere parties for strip clubs? If he wants some good action, he can go to a premiere parties and hit up all the has been Hollywood starlets looking for a one night stand. Maybe they'll think Dwight has a role for them on that Disney movie he's supposedly involved with. Not to mention, the San Fernando Valley on the other side of the hill is the p*rn capital of the world. If Dwight can't score with the former starlets of Hollywood, he can certainly get some a$$ with some pornstars.

Considering Howard (I think) likes to at least appear conservative, let's not give him any reason to not choose Houston by parading this around, alright? lol

Remember be first OKC game? James was going to inbound the ball (last few seconds of the game) in front of the OKC bench....OKC players swarmed Harden and they were all whispering something to him. They could have waited for the the final buzzer...but no...I was smh lol.

I guess, strip clubs could be a minor factor.

Dwight Howard's first words at the Rockets press conference will be, "Ladies, here I come!!!!!!!!!!" I'm sure that will not be edited

Odd. Last time an equally absurd and awful article was posted from Culture Map, there were many who came out in support of it. Yet this time, nothing. Very odd indeed.

I read CultureMap for a few weeks before I discovered that the crap to information ratio was much lower than even the Chronicle. And Chris Baldwin is the crappiest thing on there.

You get the impression that everyone at CultureMap, except for maybe 3 people, has a full time job at Starbucks and just writes on the side. Baldwin probably sells tires or something.
