I want to admit PUBLICALLY . . I was wrong.
I did not think he could become a Good Cornerback in this league
He was a bright spot on this team

He has shown me that good or bad coaching could make or break a career
I had him going down as a major bust
now he is a key contributor

I just wanna give him his due

He had a fantastic season. Kjax finally was able to turn his head left and it was beautiful. We saw glimpses of that in last season's playoff game against the Ravens.

    But....
we can have Neon sanders and Mel blount as our cbs, but until the league gives back some advantage to the defense, little midget receivers will make contact and draw the freaking flag on the defender. F' that man! (<---he mad)

This. KJ obviously has a great work ethic, and I expect big things from him in the future. I never thought I would say that at the end of a Texan's season.

Deep down I always thought he could be a decent corner if everything fell into place. I never dreamed he'd be this good.

I was always more mad at management for putting a rookie in that situation than I ever was at Kareem Jackson. But he's bounced back man. Count me in on the crow.

    The real question is..

Can he continue to improve? Is this his ceiling? I never doubted his work ethic.

    I'll pass on the crow.

He sucked and deserved all of the ridicule and scorn he got, but I didn't think he was destined to be terrible forever.

He worked hard and became a better player, and for that, I give him equal amounts of props as I gave him crap for sucking before.

    Nice job, KJ.

This is true too, he was straight up horrendous for 2 years and deserved all the blame he got. But he did finally turn it around

Major props. His only downfall is his flags.

Crazy...when just a season ago I was pegging him as one of the worst CBs in the NFL.

Proud of how he has turned it around.

He had a little improvement in year 2, but he was still consistently beat and picked on. Jason Allen was outplaying him. Instead of being the single worst corner in the NFL, he was in the top 10 or so. The change was this season, he made drastic improvements between year 2 and 3.

I think at this point . . .we might be able to conclude that it was a lack of coaching/Mentoring that was killing him

jason allen outplayed him?? lol i guess the only thing that matters is INTs... allen has better ball skills, while kareem ran laps around allen in coverage. kareem used to blanket his man and they would make some damn good catches, great back shoulder throws.. i know people still believe brees picked on kareem, when the evidence shows the ball was spread around all our secondary.. i remember people blaming kareem for plays when he wasnt even on the field...

    Bias.

We saw Jason Allen get picked on in the Raiders game when Kareem was injured last season. There was other times Allen got picked on as well.

Yall dont remember the cushion Allen was giving receivers?
