couple of stats

    Huff and Ensberg. I really like Lamb, but he needs to be trade fodder. He can't hit lefties, and he's plain dangerous with a glove. His numbers are good and he comes through with the bat. But if Huff is close to as good as his career to this point, Lamb is just a lesser version.

    it's not as if they magically get better in september. you're talking about two of the consistently best pitchers in all of baseball the past three years. my guess is that you could pull ANY month and they'd probably rate as two of the best.

    case in point, oswalt's career ERA is 3.05; his september ERA from '03-'05 is 2.77. the difference is roughly three earned runs over those 3 years.
