And they win again tonight. They look good. The reason I think this team is winning is because of the winning attitude both Kemba Walker and MKG bring. They both are winners, especially Kemba. The dude is short but plays big everytime. He makes big shots and isn't scared of the moment. I knew he was going to do amazing thing seeing his run in College.
Meh, they're gonna fall back to earth. I don't believe they will make the playoffs, let alone contend for a championship. They do look like they've improved though; they won't be the worst team in the league this year. But beyond that I can't say, except I expect a losing record by the end of the season.
It's up in the air right now as far as them making the playoffs, but i feel they can at least finish over .500.
Sigh. Teams always revert to the norm and the Bobcats are playing above their heads. Head coaching is overrated. Who would not be a great head coach with LBJ, Bosh and Wade? Plus last year they were intentionally tanking. 23 - 27 wins with MKG playing his heart out.
Mullens is tied for 41st in the league in Blocks, 19th in RPG. He actually posts up this year - he's not the Mullens of years past so far.
I will bet you any amount of tip jar donation or some sort of signature bet that they won't finish .500. No chance.
For all the complaints about lack of parity in the NBA, A LOT of teams are doing better than expected. Knicks, Philly w/o Bynum, Bucks, Bobcats, Warriors, Dallas w/o Dirk. The West is WIDE open with 2 small market teams being the front runners (OKC/Memphis).
Don't fool yourself. We are only a few games in. When we're nearing the playoffs, it will be the same predictable teams contending for a ring.
Midway through the 3rd quarter, the score was: OKC 79 Cha 25 OKC just took all their starters out so Cha now has a chance to make the most epic comeback.
