Did you mean not living up to Bradley's expectations or the team's expectations? Bradley isn't terrible in midfield in either position he is put in but he didn't have a quality match. For the last couple of years he's performed well AGAIN, since the WC even in a position he shouldn't be playing in...but yesterday he was not very good. Jurgen is obsessed with playing him higher up the pitch when he should be deeper in midfield imo. Anyway, I remain a MB fan and think more should be made of Dempsey with another lazy performance(Apprtly some think he was effective before being subbed out, I expect more from Dempsey).
I didn't watch but a few minutes here and there while it was on in the background of a show I was at. Not terribly disappointed I missed it. Klinsmann is just putting this team into positions that make it more difficult to win despite all of the evidence to do things differently. Why wasn't Nagbe starting despite the fact that he simply makes the offense better and it allows Bradley to stay deeper where he's more effective. Why was Pulisic subbed in for Wood? I want Pulisic on but it's been clear that the offense has been better with Pulisic, Nabge, & Wood. I did see the first goal which was just a classic case of bad marking. Completely avoidable. It was a great finish but could've easily been prevented. Need to see that Jurgen can learn from this and do what works better. I'm guessing he won't as he was quite strangely pleased with the performance.
Call me crazy but I think Jamaica has been paid to lose this game. The Venezuela government needs a pick me up for it's people. Just fishy football being played out there by JAM.
