The holding company that owns the Guardian has forbidden itself to pay any dividends to owners, an arrangement set up to make sure the paper operates like a nonprofit to maintain its editorial independence. Why do you think they lie for money?

Got ya--my answer is yes, I trust that the reporting is accurate and that our intelligence agencies have enough of a belief in the material to see where the rabbit hole runs. It could be a fabrication, sure, but the FBI will make that determination if need be.
