I forget what year it was, but one year the NBA spread the first round games out ridiculously long to try and keep as many weekday games as possible on ESPN & TNT. Most of the time they only had 2 games per weekday. It ticked everybody (teams and TV viewers) off so much, they haven't made that mistake since.

The only two series that suffer much are Cavs/Pistons and Spurs/Mavs, both of which have 3 days between games on 3 occasions if they go the distance. The Sat/Tue/Fri schedule of Cavs/Pistons is particularly annoying.

My only real complaint with the schedule is I don't have NBA TV on U-Verse and will be very disappointed if I can't watch Rockets/Blazers game 2. Otherwise, it's pretty solid.

Geez, what's the deal with showing Rockets games on NBATV? That sure is a great way to increase viewership.

    Yes.

As far as the NBA goes, there is no other time zone

The Rockets are the ones with the Sat/Tues/Fri lineup though, not the Mavs/Spurs. Tuesday night is gonna be awesome.....not only is the game on NBATV (lame as hell), but we also get to stay up until like 1 o'clock watching basketball on a week night. So not only do we have to wait longer than anyone else for our games to start, we also have to wait WITHIN the day for our games to start. I hate this.

I wish the Rockets and Cavs games weren't on the same day, but that's just me.

Oops, you are right. To compound the problem for me, I don't get NBA TV.

I know one series has to be on the low end of the pole, and in the West it's Rockets/Blazers.
