Got the usual amount of decent match ups this week in CFB. A primetime Pac-12 match up between Oregon and Stanford should be a good one to see who wins out the Pac-12 North. Also have Nebraska-PSU with each of those teams trying to keep their hopes alive to play in the Big Ten Championship game. TCU and Boise will be another big one for Houston fans, if TCU can upset Boise, and Houston wins out, they get a BCS bowl game. I'm now wavering on picking Oregon to beat Stanford because of Darron Thomas. The parts I saw of the UW game last week he didn't look good to me. A solid game from Thomas and Oregon takes Stanford down. Not worried about LaMichael James, who will do just fine if Thomas passes well enough to keep Stanford off-balance. They will also miss knucklehead Cliff Harris big-time. It would be great if TCU knocks of Boise St. to UH's benefit.
i hate texas, not me but this guy does http://blog.chron.com/longhorns/2011/11/mizzou-tackle-not-a-fan-of-texas-the-school-or-the-people/ Mizzou tackle not a fan of Texas — the school or the people Missouri’s football roster features 35 players from Texas, including 10 starters, but that didn’t stop defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson from making some pointed comments about the state in an interview with a Columbia, Mo., TV station this week. Richardson, a St. Louis native whose Tigers will play No. 16 UT in Columbia on Saturday, said he’s tired of hearing about how great the football is south of the Red River. “I hate people from Texas,” Richardson said. “I give people on our team from Texas a hard time because they’re from Texas. I hate Texas. I just do. I hate Texas. Any other overrated state in football I pretty much hate. That’s how I feel about it … Overrated. Overrated. Overrated. It’s blown out of proportion. It really is. I played against their best recruits and I wasn’t impressed, at all.” Neither Richardson nor Tigers coach Gary Pinkel have ever beaten the Longhorns, who have won six games in a row against Missouri. But Richardson said, “We’re gonna change that.”
Wow. With nothing to back it up, he just makes a stupid a** statement like that. Coach Pinkel's got a bright one there. Good luck with that, Richardson.
i wouldn't get too worked up about that. i mean, come on, this just screams iron sheik vs. hulk hogan all over again. he sed WHUT about uhmerrica??!
Lol that's funny. Pretty sure Mizzou recruits heavily from Texas. Way to be a r****d and alienate yourself from your teammates.
He talked about the players on his own team from Texas in the quotes. Besides, I seriously doubt they care - after all, they all left Texas to go to Missouri.
Surprised they haven't laid that female Richardson for Missouri out. Guy has a big mouth, someone should purposely do it.
Or other way; Texas/A&M/Tech didn't want them so they had to go out of state... Can't believe we lost to these chumps, but then again our RB 1-3th stringers were out
. . . In Baylor fashion, Kansas wins the opening toss & defers. Baylor being Baylor chooses to kick. Kansas receives both halves.
Funny how the Mountain Wests stole the TCU game from being played in Fort Worth because TCU was leaving the conference....and now so is Boise.
