You do realize that coaches don't say anything to the media. As if they'd give away their game plan. And people who think that all McHale says during time outs is "play harder! " because of what they see during those mic'd up sessions on TV are also clueless. The TV network isn't allowed to air any actual plays or strategy that the coach says
Clutchfans logic: Mchale only says "Play HARDER" in huddle, Steve Kerr only says "Play HARDER" once = Steve Kerr is = Kevin Mchale and they are both no better than Popp, who has also said "Play HARDER" before. Blah Blah Coaches make no difference, everyone who wants an upgrade at coach is a hater and not a real Houston fan, lol.
What happened to play smarter? How come noone has mentioned that? I remember Rockets coming out playing harder game 3. Brewer was running around like a chicken with his head cutoff. The effort was there.. there was just lack of coaching and play calling. That's how GSW easily comes back from 20 point leads in 5 mins. The get enough separation for klay and steph and they burn no clock. The 3 ball is a demoreylizer and they got the best 3 point shooter.
Oh, I know. My post was meant to mock those who act like they think McHale just says "play harder" all the time. Of course, they don't really think that (no way they're that dumb), they're just trolling.
