Dissapointment in a Possible coaching hire is not one of them. It's only sports.

lol were you the guy I sent that email to this morning? Btw, props on creating a thread about it...you will get flamed by some about how nobody cares in the organization but as fans that shell out hundreds and even thousands of dollars for this team we deserve to at least speak out.

The fans of Houston have suffered through the worst Rockets season in recent history. Mike Dantoni has had a dismal record this past decade and has a difficult personality that will eventually get the team to quit on him as they have done with McHale. Check out the fan reactions and you will see that this hire is very very unpopular with the fanbase. All that I ask, as a loyal fan of the team, is that you take us into consideration when making this hire. Part of the reason there is a sea of open red seats at every game is because of the neglect of the team towards its fans. 98% of the fans have voiced their displeasure with a Dantoni pick at the Clutchfans blog site. Good businesses listen to their customers.

Oh I misread your title and thought you wanted a physical protest.

I knew if I sent one it would end up being a page long, but it felt good. No clue if a Joe part time "would you like fries with that" reads it and throws it in the trash---but maybe they will hear our voices?

 

The first e-mail I sent was a few paragraphs long.
