    This people hate Melo because he has been trending backwards with age. People you can't hate any player on a vet min deal. There is no risk involved for the Rockets. If he gives you production then he out played his contract so it is a positive. If he doesn't bench or cut him. There really is no downside to the deal especially at vet min.

    He is not going to be an impact player in the team. There is no winning or losing for me to have him on the team.

    What's not to like? He's going to start at SF or PF position and score the ball. Maybe play marginal defense ( as well as Harden may try to play), if Melo and Harden both practice on their respective catch and shoot from the 3pt line this crazy experiment may work.

    We couldn't afford Ariza and we took a low risk on Melo. So long as he's starting, closing games, and the team is winning I think it should work..
