I noticed that too haha. It's as if Marcus was thinking to himself 'who's does this white boy think he is?'

I dont believe anything happened, Mchale just said earlier in the press conference that D-Mo would get a reality check once he first went up against Howard and he'd realize how good the NBA is. Donatas was just implying it was a two way street and DH would have to guard him, or "catch" him, as well.

Dwight's not that slow. He can catch D. Mo.

    D & M-Mo
    Daryl-Mo

I can't wait for the season to start. Finally the Rockets have some height, and Montiejunas is gonna be fun to watch. He can shoot, he can shoot, and he can shoot. He is offensively sound. He bulked up, but players like Dwight will punish him down low while players like Blake Griffin won't. Even in the rebounding department what Donatas lacks in strength he makes up for in height. I'm hoping he can block some shots for the Rockets as well.

And this is the first for me to ever have listened to the organization actually mention D. Howards name.

I have no idea how the Rockets will use him, but besides Howard, today's centers are not the traditional centers from the 80's and 90's. In many ways, they are PFs masquerading as centers. So, in that sense, it is not far fetched to envision a combo of PatPat and Monte playing the 4 and 5 positions, respectively, as you described.

It's ego. He is a very hated player on every team he has ever played on. He is known as being a huge prick in Europe.

This kid could be our starting center by the end of the season.

I don't think I'm reading too much into McHale's statement by thinking they're definitely going to be trying this guy at center.

Sometimes when people are shy they are misunderstood as cocky. I think he's camera shy and nervous.

Good stuff! I was rolling on the floor after watching this.

As long as he puts the work in to back it up, though, I've got no problems with it. As others have said, it's good to see the confidence/swagger.

Morris needs to lighten up and get a sense of humor.

D-Mo is cocky and Morris doesn't have much of a sense of humor. As long as they put in the work to get better I don't really care about their personalities as long as it doesn't become a problem with their teammates on or off the court and they help to win games.

God, I hate his haircut. I can see D. Howard putting up 40 first game against the rockets now

I see something more along the lines 50 and 25.

I'm thinking about players like Erick Dampier and Darko Mlicic.
