We have players willing to sign with the Rockets even if they can't get minutes. We are a LOOOOOOONG way from the fractured days of Ty Lawson / Howard and McHale/Bickerstaff.

What an incredible change in team culture.

This is especially true because the "injured" all-stars still obtain their "all star" credit. It is not like giving up the recognition. The history books still credits the all star nod.

I liked his energy and defense on KAT, but he still needs to run faster down the court on offense. It seems to me that he waits to know what Harden and Chris will do first. Lack of confidence on offense, has to do something with this I believe. This will hurt us in the playoffs. He need to race down to execute the P/R nearly every time. Anything else that he brings us is a bonus.

Yeah, I don't get it. Maybe it isn't that unusual and I just missed it, but I can't recall someone not playing, yet not willing to give up his spot for another deserving player. As for Lou? I would have picked CP3, still leaving him out, had Butler done what he should have.

    Two random things I love.

    1) When the opponent gets on a run and the Rockets are in a bit of a lull, Chris Paul always comes down and hits that medium range jumper to help break the momentum. It is so small, but yet huge. When you need a bucket to stop the bleeding, CP is there.

    2) PJ Tucker's defensive rotations to double team in the post. Harden does well down there, but PJ's double team really causes teams issues and forces them to pass out which a lot of times is a turnover. Rockets hurt the Spurs/Aldridge with this. Again, the little things.

he was neither injured or banged up. he was out on the practice floor when the guys had it on saturday. he partied too much. he can try to pr it all he wants to save himself but the players know what he really meant

Haha almost forgot we had Ty Lawson. I cringe when I think back to those McHale days

Capela in many ways is still a raw Swiss league player despite his growth. Nene and especially Hakeem are too advanced in their skill set and bigger than him. That is why, he can't really get it from them. Wright is older than Clint and not as good as him, but he is a vet, Capela is more likely to learn from seeing Wright on the court right now, since their games and physique are similar.
Wright's main problem unfortunately is his injury history, but he can give 10-12 good minutes when he is fit.

PJ Tucker must finish games. Dude's defense in the 4th quarter of games is stifling. He is like a much bigger Mario Elie.

    Tucker = pitbull.

Karl Towns is Tim Duncan 2.0

    1. He is tall
    2. Has post game
    3. Is from a random island
    4. Acts like a gigantic b**** every time the whistle blows

That was extremely disrespectful to Duncan.

    Number 4? Hell no.

Duncan is about as laid back of a star as this league has ever seen. He is by no means a star who does extra complaining. Did he do some? Sure. They all have. But he did far less than a vast majority.

Any Rockets fan that actually watched Duncan from his rookie year through to retirement would know that he's a giant b****.

I actually have a lot of respect for him as a player, except for all the complaining of course.

Oh, and **** the Spurs. Cannot believe I have to defend a spurs-hating stance on Clutchfans. Lift your game people!

I did watch his whole career so you're wrong on that stance.

young man definitely got this right, having fun to chase champion is the best way for him to take care of free agency too.
