It's crazy how losing only four games in the standings right now could be the difference between 3rd seed and no seed. Absolutely must win. Everyone's got to be at the top of their game, particularly defensively. Rebounds must abound. I'm hoping someone has talked to House since last game. I think he was just a little too jacked up with energy and the frenetic comeback and that negatively affected him on certain plays. He's got the goods; he needs a little more calm to make them shine. Unfortunately, he's got to learn fast.
Some fans don't remember but Clyde played a pretty violent style of BB. In his younger days, he would put you on a poster with great frequency.
Yep. It would take an unlikely combination of results for the top 8 teams in the West not to make the playoffs. Health is very important, but so does seeding. Rockets don't want to relinquish the third seed.
Proximity revenge game for Harden. Harden goes for 50 trying to take out his frustration with Buffalo.
Clyde was capable of ridiculous things. Unfortunately we only had him for the tail end of his career, but in his time with the Blazers he was easily one of the best players in the league.
Nice seats, homie. Enjoy the game... I'll be away for a bit but my heart will be watching like a hawk. (gf has a friend's bday for me to attend.. I'm not happy about it)
I'm not really concerned about missing the playoffs, but I do find it astonishing how close everything is in the West. And one or two bad games still could have a dramatic negative seeding effect. I was shocked to look at the standings today and see OKC in 8th when they were vying for 3rd with us and Portland just a few games ago. Rockets gotta treat every game from here on out with utmost importance.
