The biggest opportunity for younger teams to grind older ones into dust was during the lockout season. We saw that with younger teams frequently taking advantage of older teams who had nothing left in the tank by the playoffs, like the Celtics and the Spurs.

This season is just business as usual, though. Regular scheduling. 4 games in 5 night stints are uncommon, rest is plentiful, recovery time from injuries available.

This old fart Spurs team is dangerous again. The Rockets would do well to lose by 5.

The people who don't live in Houston and aren't from there

I don't watch my local football team anymore. I don't acknowledge we have NFL here. But miracles do happen. I believe a river defeated big ben last night. I always enjoy Rockets vs Spurs though, because being an out-of-stater, I can be a fan of both teams.

Is there any reason NOT to play D-Mo and TJ?

TD (the real TD) plays 40 in a Rockets loss.

Asik has been sick with the flu, is my hunch. Otherwise, I can't figure how he went from double-double beast to this spazz he's been lately. If he's recovered, we got a slim shot at the W tonight. If not, go Texans!

If Harden can't go, i hope coach would just let Lin do his thing and tell him to stop playing too safe and quit worrying about turning the ball over and missing shots. Lin tends to regress every time he commits errors or miss.

i never look forward to playing the spurs. maybe tonight will be different. maybe i will turn into a pumpkin at midnight and Jeremy Lin will turn into a starting-caliber NBA player. Maybe McHale will drill a hole into Pop's skull and siphon off some of his smarts.

I honestly don't think we have a chance at this game. Will have it on my league pass on my laptop, but I'll be paying more attentions to the Texans game tonight, lol.
