Probably gonna start the year off with a fat loss. Warriors are in another league of their own ahead of everyone else.

I'm just looking to see how we play overall and specifically how well Harden and Paul play together.

Yeah this is a loss but it doesn't mean ****.

In Golden State opening night after the ring ceremony.

Going to be tough. But again it doesn't mean ****. People need to keep their emotions in check tonight.

Probably a Rockets loss. The Warriors did get their asses kicked on opening night last season by the Spurs, although they were still integrating Durant at that point. The good news is they at least have a shot at winning this one since they're not on a brutal B2B like last time they played in Oakland(that was the night after playing in Portland).

Spurs beated the **** out of GS in last year's opener, what happened in June, spurs lost, peaking at the start of season is bad, let's take one day at time, just show some potential, play good O and D, i will be satisfied, expect an L

I don't think we will win just cause it's the damn warriors playing at home on ring night.

But I also don't think it will be a blowout loss either. I think it will be close like within 5 going into the last 3-4 min of the game.

Than GS could bust it open and win by 9-10 points but that won't be an indicator on how the game really went.

We'll lose this game because they are the better team, playing at home.
    Not much else to it.

Honestly, I think we come out wanting to really prove something to the world and beat the warriors.

    Rockets 118 - 109 Warriors

I would gladly trade a Warriors blowout win for an Astros Game 4 win

a blowout for GS tonight will not be good for the league

it will reinforce the (probably accurate) perception that it's hopeless for other teams

The Warriors made even the best teams look bad last year. I'm just watching for improved defensive performance over last year. If we can have above average defense combined with our offense (plus Chris Paul) I have no doubt we are in for a very fun season.

We are a much different team than last year, while the Warriors are essentially the same. We could easily catch them off guard and win it tonight.

I am not a religious man, so the start of the season is my high holy day. Please Rockets, make this more like Rosh Hashanah than Yom Kippur.

    ROCKETS Y'ALL!

Blowout loss. GSW “sends a message” (that everyone already knows) that they are still far superior to the rest of the NBA and this season already ended last June.
