    I literally just repeated everything head coach Mike D'antoni told his team in the middle of a NBA playoff game. The Rockets didn't attempt the most 3's in the history of the NBA for no reason. Like it's been mentioned in this thread, the Rockets averaged more 3 point attempts than 2 point attempts all season long. You don't suddenly change just because its the playoffs.

    You obviously should take the mid-range shots if the defense gives them to you, but our goal and identity is shooting 3's and playing D.

    Well, that's according to head coach Mike D'antoni, of course.

    I appreciate that you posted MDA's quote. I never implied that we should quit taking 3 pointers. Good perimeter defense, length and quickness, physicality are the 3 things that bother the Rockets the most. Fortunately, they are quite well prepared to counter this when they are completely fit. Right now, this isn't an issue with the Wolves. Currently, our guys are struggling with shots( Gordon, to some extent Ariza). We are also missing Ryan and Luc. Therefore, our shooting percentage is down. I just don't want our guys to be clanging 3 pointers when they go cold. Mix it up, with better ball movement, take the open jumper. If it's not working, drive to the rim and finish, or dish it to Capela or Green( our most athletic finishers). Step in to take mid range shots as well( CP3 is the best at it, Harden and Green can make them too). Keep on defending.

    I'm not sure if Luc will be the starter next year, but Ariza will have an easier job coming off the bench.

    Sixers & Warriors won their game three on the road but rest of the home teams have taken care of business. Hopefully the Rockets take care of business on the road.

    We've been shutting down both Butler & Kat.
    I'd like to see this continue personally because our D will be the deciding factor in our title chances.
