And you're also ignoring games that were lost because he was crap. For whatever reason, the team has a high net rating when he's OFF the court

they’re a better team than the Wolves and have Harden...they should be winning these games

Wolves are even worse, and if they weren’t expected to beat a team like them then last night’s L wouldn’t be an issue

A couple of thoughts on the game.

    1. The Rockets are a better team. But, Minnesota played the better game and deserved to win. Minnesota played really well. They made half their threes. They shot the ball very well, and worked hard on defense.

    2. This feels like a game that the Rockets could have won if Capela had played. Towns was +20 for the game, and the Wolves made a lot of easy buckets at the rim. Capela would have been a big difference maker last night.

Since Clint has been out. He typically owns KAT

Here we go again. Let's think this through.
Your MVP and star player is in the midst of making history with his consecutive games scoring streak.
The more games he scores over 30 the more he cements his page in history. He WANTS to be out there mixing it up.
But, you are criticizing Coach because he didn't bench him (and break his record breaking streak) because
he's having an off night and pushing himself too hard?
That's BRILLIANT! Shut down a run that only 1 other person in history has been able to out-do
so you can show you 'care' about your star player.
No, if you care about him, you help him to keep chasing history.

If you've been following the Rockets, you might have also heard that James has likewise turned
up the intensity of his workouts. Getting other players involved too.
Hardly sounds like someone whining about being pushed too hard. He's pushing himself
(people attribute it to a factor in why he's been able to do what he's been doing lately)

And yes, we've not been winning at the pace that we're used to. But I guess people forget one IMPORTANT fact.
We have been without Clint for 15 games! And he brings a whole different dynamic to our team.
I can assure you, the OKC game would not have been close if we had Clint. The Minny game would not have been
close either. Clint typically owns KAT. But everyone panics like we have our full team and we're just mediocre.
WE HAVE NOT HAD OUR FULL TEAM FOR over 15 games (CP was also out which makes it even more).
Let's reassess after the ASB and after Clint is back. Faried will be our backup.
We'll get our rebounding, rim protection and P&R back. BIG difference.

Not coach's fault that Clint and CP went down.

Another awful, mystifying, baffling loss. But at this point in the season, is it really mystifying anymore? They are who they are.

Difficult to witness all those blown defensive duties. That game sucked. ASW is blessed relief.

So many bad losses. When the Rockets get poor seeding just remember all of these losses. I think they have had around NINE of these. Flip those and they are the #1 seed right now. Last year's team had more *resolve* to not lose these games. They could count on their defense to help them through stretches.

Sure Capela would help. But watching guys not being able to stay in front of their man was tough to watch.

CP and EG as the #2 and #3 scorers need to provide consistent scoring.

Get House. Get Morris. Get Healthy. Buckle down and let's get going after the all star break.

NATIONAL TV for LAL on Thursday. And then ABC Primetime on Saturday vs GSW. Time to shine in those games.

No need to over complicate things. Capela helps control Towns. If you control towns the rest of the team is out of rhythm and makes less shots. Faried was getting abused on switches. If we had Capela we would have won that game.

I am not one of those. When Tilly bought this team I thought about hosting a funeral.

These guys want to learn how to play defense it might behoove them to go over to UH and watch the Coogs play.

Sure they made half there threes.... but they didn't take that many .

We didn't lose because they were on fire from three . We lost because we couldn't stop them in the paint

Of course clintwpuld have helped . But this is a mediocre team we were playing . We should have won even with Clint out

Zero D and nothing but ISO on offense with long hair ked 3s? I'll be shocked if me manage to win a series in the playoffs.

A stat that will hurt you a lot more times (for not buying gf a gift- oops) than not, Free Throws. You can shoot 50%+ all you want, but if you go to the FT line only 12 times, you will likely to lose unless the opponent wants to lose (76ers a few years ago, a year ago Mavericks). Falling for jumpshots is an easy defense to play, requires less energy and more energy on offense in this case Minny. Mainly Minny wanted more than the Rocks who already hit the break button last game. In a series, no way the Rocks go play like this.

You think the rockets should’ve won 30 in a row?
