I think this is the best we can hope for. Get everyone else more touches and get their confidence back up. Play a more egalitarian style while Harden is out and don’t press anyone for minute; especially Ariza and CP3.
From the Chron story it sounds like MDA believes we will: A) just be fine B) only need to compensate for a few tough shots C) as the rest will come from ball movement My conclusion based on this: MDA is slightly delusional as we are one of the worst teams at moving the ball. He also has no inclination to add anything new in terms of sets or plays, he will not expand the rotation and might not even know how to deal with the recent losses nor Harden being out.
Guys, plot twist, our offense improves a little. We know we don´t run Dantoni textbook offense since Harden isos a lot more, and rarely goes for the Seven seconds or less. I will be at 7pm tonight, hoping to see the closest thing to a Steve Nash 2007 impersonation. I remember reading one joke back then was that between Nash and Dantoni they could start a tomato can at Sg and having it average double digits. Here is one hoping everyone gets their offense going a little bit with more offense in Paul´s hands. Not really looking forward to the 20 minutes where CP3 won´t be doing PG.
We have looked pretty damn bad when neither cp3/harden are on the floor this is the part I worry about the most.
It's possible but I think we have to try something different. Maybe give the rock to we we and have Gordon off the ball. The whole Gordon doing a harden imitation at the top of the key to get hammered at the rim makes me soft
we gonna struggle, CP3 wont play 40 minutes, and if he does that's a recipe for disaster especially on a back to back. Gordon and ariza gonna get about 40 minutes and they wont have any left for tomorrow's game...
He's a bad coach who just blew the team's chances at a #1 spot. Mike Brown was a coty, I couldn't care less about that award.
