According to Barkley’s analysis the other team doesn’t have to use any energy against us.....

Harden running pg and I believe that was the year he lead the league in assists. It’s was before the iso harden era.

I think if Hartenstein just got maybe even 5 minutes/GM and push the rotation to 10 they’d have enough bodies to throw at boys and sustain the wear and tear.

I get what the tnt guys are saying about the pounding taking a toll, but there’s not one or two guys consistently taking the bigs on down low.
Everyone is getting a turn and that keeps the wear down.

I am worried about wearing down on the boards , not worried about posts ups.

But if big boys are crashing the boards every play and our small guys are having to box them out everytime , i do think overtime the advantage goes to the bigger player.

Whats killed us in these last couple games is drives to the rim.

but boxing out these giants can wear you out as well

    hes right

Rockets just need to defend and not leave shooters open without double teams

What else do you expect when you have two HOF big men and a guy who played with a HOF big man on the panel?

    Fatigue works both ways Chuck!

I dunno, LeBron and AD looked pretty tired after the first quarter. More running around than usual?

You have to ask? We’re the Rockets, the piñata of your typical NBA talking head. These guys aren’t exactly “typical,” but damn near enough. The best response is to beat the Lakers and the second half will tell the tale. Let’s hope we don’t leave with our tails between our legs, rhetorically speaking. I’m hoping we’ll come out strong in the 3rd. We need to.

Anyone think MDA will make change things up a bit in the second half?

Shaq’s commentary was less biased than Barkley’s and he’s likely right long term.

It goes both ways though. The Lakers have to cover a lot of ground on the other end because of the spacing. Also, man every team isn't constructed like the Lakers. People act like we will get destroyed inside every night are wrong.

So are the opponents big men. If you ever play organized badketball, it sucks to chase little guys out in the perimeter.

I don’t really think we win unless Harden shows up. He’s been bad.

Defense obviously is the real concern though.
