If Rockets lose next 2 games to Lakers and Warriors on national TV, look for Morey to sign House.

Ah, yes. Good old Scott Foster. Almost like he didn't receive 134 phone calls from disgraced ex ref Tim Donaghy between 06-07.

He's a totally honest ref that didn't have anything to do with last years game 7 vs Warriors.

lol doubt it. you don't sacrifice a long-term strategy because of a couple prime time losses. That would be short-sighted indeed.

No matter win or lose, just do not play lazy ball.

    Put all your effort.

Not quite sure but he said that they were just friends...He shouldn't be a ref imo. He's terrible.

“It’s not atypical for officials to play phone tag from time to time,” Foster told Sports Illustrated. “Just today I’ve talked to two refs twice and two refs once. We go back and forth. I get to the airport and I’m in the security line, I’d give him a call. I’d be watching SportsCenter, I’d give him a call. It’s constant water-cooler chatter. That’s how we work out here. You have one or two buddies who you bounce things off of and share experiences with.

“I made a list of things [Donaghy and I] could have been talking about. It was about 45 things. It could be a family thing or who was hotter, Betty or Wilma.”

The records also showed Donaghy making several calls to Foster on the days of games, generally for no more than two minutes.

The report also said that when Donaghy called Foster, he mostly used the phone that he dedicated to gambling-related phone calls, and the phone calls stopped abruptly when Donaghy said he stopped gambling.

I've gotten so much done this past week. It sucked. So glad basketball is back. Go Rockets!

foster worked the all-star game too, which is why harden didn't bother driving the lane even once

I agree with your first sentence, but I don't see any correlation with Green's minutes. Capela's presence might give him more open looks. Green might have to play extra minutes because of Shumpert's knee injury too.

I'm interested in seeing how the rotation of Clint and Faried look. We have always said we needed another big behind Clint that can run the pick and roll to keep the offense lethal when Clint sits. Faried has played well filling in, but now he can play his backup role and I think that will be helpful for him and it will also help PJ since he can slide over to PF if needed. So PJ gets a rest too and hopefully his shot starts to fall again.

CP should be ready for the playoff push. He was starting to look solid again the last week before all-start break.

Count this one up as a loss. Rockets haven’t won a game with Foster as the official when CP3 is playing
