1) Why can't the team bother to care in the 1st quarter? Consistent problem all season

2) What has caused Harden to think basketball consists of 2 shots?

 

It is over.

You can't lose the last 3 games, 2 to bad teams and think this small ball thing works.

When the 3s don't go in they lose. There is no plan b.

 

Oh, come on. CP3 and Capela did not turn up in that whole series. CP3 may have turned up in game 6, but they still had 3 all-stars out there. 2 of those all-stars can easily get 30 plus points a game. Harden and Tucker were literally the only players who turned up against the Warriors.... and you can't beat a team like the Warriors with only 2 guys performing. And I'm not making any excuses for Harden playing poor against the Spurs. He played poor. Nobody is denying that. But it's only a handful of games where Harden's played complete trash in. Out of 8 years in the playoffs, that's only the series where he's played truly terrible in. The rest he's performed pretty well in.... especially with limited support.

And that's why I said you guys are literally nitpicking Harden's terrible performances, which there aren't many of..... over his really good performances, which are on most nights.

 

As long as Harden is playing like a B-Lister, then yeah, it's not going anywhere.

Obviously there is no Plan B but that's expected with MDA as the coach. That's been obvious for years.

The same was true with Capela on the team. So what does that prove about small ball? You have to make shots no matter small ball or traditional position bball.

 

For the past 4 games James Harden’s 3-pt shooting is pathetic 18%! He still keeps chucking tons of broken 3. Driving to the rim more or taking mid range? No!

Do you think the Rockets are winning that 2018 Jazz series without Chris Paul? Harden was terrible in that series too. Harden also has only shot 33% from 3 in the Playoffs through his ENTIRE career. That's bad...

 

House effort and production not consistent either.

Given our situation, rather start the longer more athletic player.

 

We let them take a 20-0 lead to start.

While we generally played very poorly, that's the main reason that we lost. Granted, we got within 3 at 30-27, but it was an uphill battle the whole time while our starters were playing terribly and allowing CHA to go up by double digits over and over. It was gut-wrenching.

 

Rockets are only 1 game from 7 seed. Games now are over after 1st period. The Rockets either play great, or terrible. Not a good sign when they reach the playoffs.They need to sit Gordon until he is 100%. He plays 1 or 2 games, then hobbled to the bench.Rockets is a gambler's nightmare. You never know which team you will get.

 

It’s time for players to have a team meeting and everyone let their **** out. They need to talk about what is working and what it isn’t and right now, it looks like nothing is working. We need to adjust, MDA needs to put a big in there for few minutes if we are getting destroyed. Let harden have a big in there without Russ and play pick and roll with Tyson or Bruno. MDA needs to adjust ASAP or this is donezo.
