Welp, No Anderson vs OKC.

 

Seems like ESPN thought this was about Westbrook and when they realized it was about Harden they quickly deleted it lol

 

Great to see us beating a Hot Pelicans team. Payback was fun.
Harden was awesome! Nene and Bev are our tough guys. Nice to see Gordon rounding into shape, and a much improved game from Capela on the boards. Hopefully soon, Lou's
3 point shooting will heat up.

Rockets need to start Sam Dekker and not bring Gordon into the starting lineup. ****.. Start Wiltjer.

 

Start Kyle Wiltjer over Anderson..... better catch and shoot shooter IMO..... will hit more than Anderson does..

No way Anderson plays Sunday. That's an afternoon start, so it's less than 48 hours after this game. It's almost a B2B. Frankly I'd hold him out against Golden State and the upcoming 3-game road trip too as a precaution. The Rockets can win in Portland and Phoenix without him. If they keep him out that long, he'll get 12 days of rest before returning against Denver on April 5.

Not only do we need him against OKC, we also play Golden State twice next week. This is not the time to be losing our most consistent 3pt shooter. Bad luck for sure!! Not only that, but we don't have any other forwards who shoot well behind the arc other than Wiltjer, who coach doesn't play. It's time for Dekker to get back in the groove from behind the arc. Hey Trez, practice your 3's and you can help out there! Anything other than the 3 guard lineup, please!!

All I know for sure is that Cousins is a real jerk and I am so glad we put it to them in the end!! We are on a roll now, let's keep this momentum going guys! Go Rockets!!!!!

 

Guys getting hurt or regressing right before the playoffs doesn't exactly bode well for us.

 

Another great win and strong performance by the Beard. 6 more wins to tie our win total from 2 seasons ago.

Hopefully Rynos ankle heals soon cuz we're gonna need him on the court down this stretch.

 

The Rockets are almost a lock to get 3rd seed and not budge. Now's the time to start resting guys whose health is not 100%.

 

What an awful game again, I'm sorry to say. We just messed around for the whole first half, most of the third and then finally showed some grit in the 4th. Granted, the referees were very inconsistent which lead to a lot of odd fouls on both sides. Apparently Cousins falling down twice while nothing happens is a foul on us and a legit elbow is not? RA should not have gotten involved with Cousins though. And what's with our team going to the ref after that elbow instead of Cousins? Bunch of pansies! Beverley was key in this game, again. Harden did great, Nene as well but Bev was the one guy. In general I don't like our effort and the way we approach the game. Play like this in the play-offs and we lose in the 1st round. It's time to stop complaining to the referees, to stop letting Beverley be the PG when Lou & Gordon are in the game, to let Lou get some shots off of plays, attack the basket like tonight, stop going under screens and for Rockets' sake: get a PF and or SF who can contribute!! Dekker is not ready and we lost Anderson.
