More injury lies from the Rockets. Typical.

So funny they can make Capela sit but they don't have the balls to make Harden sitdown ,he's clearly injured this is getting ridiculous

The Rockets don’t have the power to ”make” Harden do anything. Superstars in the NBA make their own decisions.

Harden needs to sit and get healthy...........but he likely won't and he will most likely struggle again.

It's not as awesome as beating the Jazz, but a boring win over Dallas would be a good start to the weekend. Go Rockets!

A weird foot injury for a big man is terrifying for any trade partners

So here's what he said. He literally said he doenst clear the players to play, he leaves it up to the medical staff. He literally said he doesnt want Clint to play if he could risk Clint getting injured. Yall come for his head and then get mad when the staff tells MDA they can play.

His quotes on the inflammation and getting his injury "warmed up" is borderline evidence for an HR complaint if Clint so chooses. The guy is literally a fraud, developing a medical diagnosis mid-game.

Watch the clip above, hes not just pulling this out of his ass, he's using what the both Clint and the medical staff is telling him..sheesh.

Bro . MDA is not absolved of all culpability here . Neither is he solely responsible ...
The medical staff could definitely make black and white decisions .

But unless we think Clint flat out lied to MDA that he was pain free (which we know from earlier quotes is unlikely , MDA talking about how he feels better once he gets warmed up) then the coach has responsibility.

MDA probably knew Clint was in some degree of pain / banged up . Maybe Clint thought he could play through it . Maybe the medical staff said it wouldn’t get worse . But it’s up to MDA to take information and make the call .

My problem isn’t so much that MDA will test guys with injuries , a lot of coaches do it . They see what a guy looks like and maybe even give him minutes . But most go in with a plan to take it easy and see how the guy responds the next day .

MDA gets players back and assumes they are good for full duty . I think there’s some irresponsibility on all sides (medical staff , MDA , management, maybe even players are too eager) but at the end of the day ... I the final call is in MDA’s hands . Unless the guy is on the inactive list (who does that btw ?) my point is MDA can either give the guy min or give a DNP-CD .... it literally says coach’s decision .

Edit . I just listened to the whole clip ... wtf is MDA even saying lol . He has no clue ?

I am sorry but this is just coach- speech that proves nothing.
Of course he is going to say he leaves it to the medical staff, that's what all coaches say in this case. What do you expect?
"Doctors said no, but I put him to play anyway"
