4th best defense in the league but our offense sucks. hope we atleast keep it close and harden gets his shooting touch back
if we win, it would be like this Memphis game, we win big, otherwise, it will be a loss, whether the score is close or not.... forget about the b2b, just see the Nuggets game and you will know.......
The Heat is just a crazy hard team to beat unless you have a huge post/rim presence or can drop 3's like crazy (NY). Since we have neither (Asik will help, but he isn't Dwight), our best hope is their game is off due to it being a b2b. Defensively we're pretty solid, but we aren't stopping Lebron + Wade + Bosh. We just don't have enough good defenders to slow them all down, especially with their line of 3 point shooters to spread the floor. Most likely they will slaughter us... but one can hope.
If Wade keeps up his horrible shooting and we stop bricking everything we might be able to keep it close. Still see a loss though. Just no blowout and ill be happy.
Rockets beat the one of the worst teams Detroit yesterday. Rockets will beat one of the best team tomorrow. Go rockets, Go Lin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lin throws 20 lobs to asik who finish with 41 points (20 dunks and 1/6 from ft) harden plays lock down defense on wade and hit 10 3pts!!!! Rockets 120 - 105 heat.
Still waiting on all the people chewing on nonsense to check the scoreboard. Miami got blown out by Memphis. Anyone actually pay attention to what is going on in the NBA - are any of you looking at individual stats and team stats every game? If you had you'd know that the Heat had a solid chance of losing tonight and the fact they got blown out by Memphis gives the Rockets a fighting chance. Its on coaching and Turnovers led by Harden - we keep playing Defense and we find a way to get our offense up-beat and up-tempo like I've been saying and we actually get ball-movement. We stop this funnel through Harden and get back to finding our beat this is not a write-off. Still a long-shot anyways.
Hopefully Wade will still be out of it tmrw from his cold/flu. Even then, we'll likely lose by 20. 10 if Harden goes insane.
The Heat are currently ranked 24th defensively so hopefully we can exploit this. Knowing our luck the Heat will suddenly be the best defensive team in the NBA tomorrow.

Great, the team that Im sure still give Lin and Harden nightmares Really though, I think our backcourt will come out with a lot of revenge fueled energy There won't be as much pressure on them tomorrow. This is not the Finals and the Heat won't go on a mission to end Linsanity. My prediction: The team finally clicks and the Rockets win by 4 in overtime.
Sure would be nice if we get a W, but regardless, it's going to be an exciting game to watch. Go Rox!
Well, we can only hope that for once the key stats in NBA means something... I mean it mentions the individual leaders for both team as having the following stats: PPG James 22.2 Harden 26.5 RPG James 10.0 Asik 12.8 APG James 6.2 Lin 6.5 BPG Wade 1.4 Jones 2.0 SPG Chalmers 1.8 Lin 2.7 Heck, we are supposedly leading in all departments ;-) so "theoretically" there is a chance that the Rockets take this say by about 9 points maybe.... best wishes nonetheless ..... go Rockets!
Memphis is a fundamentally sound team, well-rounded with little weaknesses. The bench also caught fire in scoring, which was the main reason of the rout. Only way Rockets can win is if Omer dominates inside.
Watching the grizz destroy the heat makes our close fought loss look ok. We lost to a red hot denver team by 2 and lost to even tougher team on there court by 10 after we led for majority of the game.
