ClutchFans Game Thread: Heat @ Rockets 11/12/2012

It will be close game. Heats will get tired after today's game.

It is a loss on paper, but hopefully, Rockets can win and gain the confidence for the rest season games.

 

Brain says: Rockets won't be too far away, but in the end we'll see the difference between our young guys and a championship contending team.

Heart says: F*uck these b*tches!

I want the Rockets to beat the heat so badly I can taste it.

The key to the game is going to be how the Heat are able to minimize the high pick n roll, and what Asik and Patterson can give the Rockets.

For all their strengths, the Heat are still--still--soft inside. It remains to be seen if the Rockets will be able to exploit that weakness.

 

Oh yeah, Houston is also catching Miami on the tail end of a back to back.

Hopefully they are tired and disinterested by tomorrow.

 

LBJ nearly killed somebody on a dunk in the Memphis game a few minutes ago -_- SMH not looking forward to that. I think it all goes down to cutting down TOs & hitting outside shots. If we do those two things we should be good. Also Lin & Harden have to handle miami's swarming defense.

 

i want Royce white to play because hes our lesser Lebron James

 

This is a "reality check" game. This will show us how far we are apart in terms of Rockets trying to be a contender...

looks like he's about 4 ft in the air...

 

We're the youngest team, playing against the defending champion. Let's hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I just want to see everybody showing up and giving it 110%. Don't feel intimidated, play to our potential, and see how we measure up against the supposedly best team in the league.

A win will boost the team spirit big time, and a good-looking loss isn't that bad, we'll still be a game below .500.

His head was like over the rim. That is insane. Having Jesus Shuttlesworth on that team depresses the **** out of me. I love Ray Allen but hate the heat. Ray Allen spotting up for the corner 3 having LBJ pass to him... Sigh some things in life are so unfair.

Because our bigs appear to be scared to put the ball in the hoop. Or unable to do so.

 

I don't know about the Rockets winning but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a close game. The Rockets are known for close games with elite teams and getting whooped by average squads.

 

I am an eternal optimist. Harden and Lin will be pumped for this. Time to go to work. Miami won't break 100 points.

Yikes, if Miami lose that game(especially by a big margin), they're going to take it out on the Rockets for sure.

 

This team has been together for a little over two weeks and we're 3-3. How awesome are the Rockets?!! I love that everyone got PT this last game. The Miami game is going to be fun to watch... go team!

 

Asik has the potential to change the game. Odds are the star power of the Heat is going to cause foul problems for the big guy.

 

That or they take this nonchalant attitude, like the regular season doesn't matter, all the way to Houston tomorrow.
