    The Rockets had the best half court offense in the league last season.

    We just don't have players that are indestructible when the other team in trying to injure them on purpose

    Would love to have seen CP running the point in 4th Q last night instead of watching ISO ball.
    Sometimes Harden isn't quick enough to penetrate and just dances and dribbles on the 3pt line
    before jacking up an ill-advised shot. This allows other defenders to just stand around.

    With CP, he's quick enough to get by his defender and into the paint creating havoc for
    the defending team having to collapse into the paint.
    Creates possible alley-oop, or kick back out for open 3.
    We just lacked any playmaking at the end

    Can't win them all but this one was very winnable.

    2 reasons why we lost.

    1. The refs were atrocious. It was very clear from the start to me that they were call this game in Memphis favor.

    2. We flat out choked. Coach waited to long to put Gordon back in. We kept turning the ball over repeatedly. It was like 5 straight turnovers. The three ball wasn't falling. And finally we stopped playing defense. #CHOKED

    These are my top 5 rockets plays from the Grizzlies game.

    So pissed that we lost that game, I had enough after that ref got in the way of Harden's pass. Illuminati confirmed. They don't want us winning.

    Huh? Harden's is definitely more explosive than Chris when it comes to beating his initial defender off the dribble. James just chooses to take ill-advised threes. Which might make it worse.

    He wasn't showing it in the closing minutes of the Memphis game.
    It seemed to be back to the old ISO, dance around, dribbling between legs for 10 sec and
    pass off to teammate with 3 sec left. We didn't score for the last 4 min of the game.
    Wasted possession after possession with mostly ISO.
    We've got new weapons on our team we didn't bother to get involved at the end.
    It was the SAME OLD THING as the McHale days
    I love James, but this CAN'T be our only offense in tight situations against tough defensive teams
    We all know how turnover prone he is, and it also reared its' head during this awful stretch
    HEROBALL is painful to watch when your hero is having no effect. Can't we just try something different when it's not working?
    That's all I'm asking

    I'm not disagreeing about the playstyle needing to change. I'm just saying it's not lack of ability, but rather his decision to settle, which is what ultimately needs to be altered.

    That's why the Grizzlies are such a perennial juggernaut in the playof... oh sheeeeet

    Congrats. Your stars are healthy and ours are not. You still needed a referee assisted comeback to beat a team that traded away a bunch of depth to get a star player who's not available.

    You act like the grizzlies are inept in the playoffs, when the oppose has been true. Yes, the grizzlies lost in the first round last year, but the grizzlies placed too much faith in chandler parsons and the core of zbo, tony and vince were really slowing down. We didnt have tony in that series.
    The grizzlies play the top teams better than the rockets do as a general rule. Especially in the playoffs.
