Absolutely! Unless something has changed now that Silver is in charge, it's just "business as usual" for the NBA.

Regd Harden 3 pointer, it takes a lot of energy to drive to the basket.

As I've maintained before, he was probably fatigued (after playing for 45 mins).

Yes, maybe he should have passed the ball instead to a driver (ie. eg Parsons or Lin), but Parsons had been playing 47 minutes so maybe Lin, who had the
    hot hand in OT.

But much easier (esp when fatigued) to shoot the 3 than to drive to basket.

In summary, McHale to shoulder most of blame for minute management.

8 player rotation indeed, carppy esp if OT is needed.

    Am STILL feeling disappointed.

rondo? beverly won't be a starter then. beverly won't be able to play like a true PG coming off the bench. he plays so well because he plays with the starters doing the dirty works and playing aggressive. they don't need him be be a scorer playing with the starters.

If we had Rondo then how Bev fits in would be the least of our worries. Always other options.

    So true:

    5. Who most needs to step it up going forward?

Strauss: James Harden, whose bad defense continued into the postseason. It's one thing to be bad on defense during the regular season and another to dog it in the playoffs. If it's a matter of effort, then it's curious as to why the effort remains poor in these critical games. If it's not a matter of effort, then I apologize to Harden because I have no idea how difficult it is to play competent NBA defense.

The Rockets have some catching up to do both in strategy and execution. Still, I like our chances in Game 2, and in the series.
