[ClutchFans] FINALLY! Rockets unveil black alternate jersey for 2016-17 season

the checkers remind me of the flag in racing sports. In general the grey jersey reminds me of Formula 1. lol

I had premonition about black jerseys.....no b.s. and here they are......all three jerseys are just took sweeeet!!!

When does the season start? I'm ready to go.

 

Clutch City and the grey one look like decent practice jerseys.They don't look like game jerseys. I like the look of the black but why? There's no black associated with the franchise.

I love the mustard and ketchup, we won titles in mustard and ketchup, no other NBA team wears mustard and ketchup. When you see the color combination Rockets is the team that comes to mind.

Red and Yellow with Houston on them please. Why does that have to be so hard?

 

As a space dork growing up I LOVE the checkered sides. It is the only thing for me that saves these jerseys from being painfully boring. I just wish that the checkers weren't all square but I will take it.

 

See the checkered sides inspiring a jersey, cool, but then do something with it. It really looks like someone just had a template, said we need Houston, some red there and since we save some space left, let's put a chestboard right there. You could have flow along the side, have darker and lighter black intertwine or something. Not this...

 

Tbh all 3 look ugly. The red and yellow would be fine if it wasn't for the sleeves, but I don't like either one.

 

Just pay i3artow i3aller for this design and we will have the best jersey in the league. This is the best jersey design I've seen so far.

Black and red are Nazi colors, not Rocket colors.

Damn it Less and Durrell, bring back the Championship uniforms.

I really hope wearing the Clutch City jersey doesn't come back to bite us. Viral material major choke job on national tv or the playoffs.

I like them all but I hate sleeves.. OMG do I hate sleeves, what is the point of the sleeves? these are jerseys, not t-shirts!!!!
I like the scheme on all 3, aside from the sleeves.
Favorites are the black ones, then gray

 

DMo looks big, like almost Pekovic BIG.

 

While the ring around then number is kind of cool, the stars make it way too busy and a team blending colours like that will never happen so it was kind a waste of time.

 

Those are extremely tacky, gaudy, cartoonish, etc.

I can't believe that design has gotten so much love. It's hideous.

Not as great as some concepts I've seen here, but I still like them.

 

I mean they're pretty universally loved vs. these actual alternates being universally panned. So there's something to that. Obviously it would be nice to see how the space gradient would look on a real fabric / person, but it's a cool, unique concept that seems to be executed well in that design.

Whoever claimed it was i3artow i3aller's design, it's actually from reddit user R_E_D_D_I_T, who has some other good designs for other teams as well posted over there.
