    Actually the seats are good
    The stadium is pretty small
    Erwin center might be bigger

    Their crowd is really loud
    Very impressed

Damn, those seats were $150? I can get premium seats at TC for half that price. I can only imagine what courtside seats would cost at Oracle.

Yes, and the beer cost $13

What's weird is that it's less corporate than Toyota Center, not as many suites (this is probably why they are moving)

The crowd appeared less corporate (no blocks of empty seats) even though ticket prices are super high

the building itself sucks and located in the hood, but it's small and loud which is good for home field advantage

The tickets were reasonable until they won the championship. I used to sit center court about middle of lower bowl for about 150. I've only been Toyota center once so I can't really compare but the oracle crowd is insane. The crowd make every basket they make feel like it's 5 points

The TC crowd is nothing like the crowd at Oracle. I think we have 1 of the quietest buildings in the NBA. It makes it look even worse when we have the 3rd best record in the NBA and TC still can't get loud. If we made the amount of noise that the Portland, Boston, or Oracle crowd made every night then that would be insane.

It's a completely different vibe at Toyota not because there less die hard fans it's because it's completely setup to make money from drinks and food and corporate suites

The bars and concessions suck at oracle and the concourse is tiny
You want to go to your seats

I was at our lone playoff win last year, I can't honestly say it was any louder, or even as loud, as it appeared in their building last night.

There is a really nice bar at oracle if you sit at club level but that's about it. The lacation they are building the new arena at will be amazing but there won't be any parking so it will be interesting to get there

so how do we change that... You sell more tickets to people who work for stub hub, etc. This is a key reason people show up late. Its used as a business meeting. Tilman should sell his tickets to 3rd party ticket websites instead of giving them to local businesses for nothing. Restart the whole season ticket process. Go door to door and sell them to people. Give the regular people bigger discount than the cooperations.

Not an easy fix for Houston culture.
People want a good value or else they’ll watch it on tv

Im optimistic that that will change in the future. The fertitas sound like they are going to change a lot about how the toyota center functions in the future.

Tilman is already trying to address the late arriving issue with the “1st shot routine”
