We should hold onto him for as long as it takes to secure a good deal, because while hopefully it won't happen, Dwight could go down with an injury and with Greg Smith out, what are our options for center?

He is my 2nd favorite player on this team. I hate that he wants to leave, but I cannot blame his ire over the matter. When he was initially signed he was promised a starting position. Unfortunately for him a really valuable piece became available and the Rockets went for it. This left him in no man's land and I can't help but sympathize with his frustration. I hope where ever he ends up makes him happy.

Rockets should tell Asik that if he pouts he will spend the next two years on the bench wasting away because they won't trade him for nothing.

That guy has to play hard and try if he wants to get traded.

I don't understand why the Pelicans aren't interested anymore. Weird.

Wherever Asik goes, I'm going to follow that team with interest. He was easily my favorite Rocket last year.

I can't help but to feel super frustrated for the guy... While Howard is a defensive beast, I think his offense is discombobulating the flow of things right now. I miss the days when Asik was a powerhouse down low and let Harden and Lin handle the scoring.

Boozer and a high first-round pick for a disgruntled Asik (with a ballooning salary) and non-rotation players. Even Charlotte wouldn't make that bad a deal. Dream on, Carl.

Really liked Asik but, like Lowry, if he doesn't want to be here ship his ass out. Just get something worthwhile in return. Morey will find something to work with.

My pipe dream. (Obviously very slim chance of actually happening.)

Asik+(pick/jones/dmo) Not all three just whatever works for Kanter. I like the idea of a twin towers and with Kanter at the 4 we get a bit more floor spacing and a guy who has the potential to blossom into a stud.

And the pick is 1-10 protected. No thanks.

Maybe NOrleans wants to skip a step... and directly become a powerhouse in the West - Top 5
Asik makes them a playoff contender but if they are out to winning a championship with the emergence of Davis they might need one or two stars.

So we got people hating it from both team's perspectives. This means the deal is fair and realistic.

    Welcome to Houston, Carlos Boozer!

Asik for Ersan and Zaza please.

Ersan shot 40%+ beyond the arc for 3 years straight and Zaza is a solid defender.

The problem is that the Bucks just signed Larry Sanders to a huge deal. They are committed to Sanders at C now and isn't about to change their mind a month into the contract no matter how ****ty Sanders has been so far.

You probably need to send Omer to a third team in order to get something from the Bucks.

    Asik is now Imsick.

His pout matches the best a 3 year old could ever rustle up.

Sanders is injured though, they are desperate.

Then again Asik will only be on their book for 1 more year if things don't work out.
