DMo doesn't have a fade away shot.

They're trying hard to deny what happened in the 2015 playoffs, because despite their wishes, the only team to outlast the Rockets in the west was the Warriors (which made everything alright again in the ESPN underverse). They're hoping we don't "shock" everyone again this coming season.

Lol, I remember that comment, but I didn't know who she was.

That was awesome to see Hakeem come on for a cameo appearance. Absolutely loved it.

GTFO ... Jordan was a great scorer, but his championships didn't have to do with just him. Olajuwon is a center and the best one ever at that. A lot of GMs would most definitely take Hakeem over Jordan. Maybe not all of them, but there would definitely be GMs that prefer building around a young talented center over a young talented guard.

Real rockets and love Hakeem and would never get Jordan.
It was about Houston. He gave Houston the best memories.

I love the nostalgia, and Hakeem can obviously ball for a 50 year old...

But To say that no one in the NBA can make this move right now is absurd!

Hakeem's the greatest center of all time, and it was fun to see him out the for a few possessions. I just think it's ridiculous to say that nobody can make that particular shot right now.

Are you telling me that if you went back in time you still wouldn't draft Jordan first overall, knowing that he'll become the greatest basketball player of all time?

No, we're telling you that if we could go back in time we'd have drafted Clyde instead of McCray, and traded Sampson for the number 2 or 3 pick to draft Jordan and have him play point.

    Prime Hakeem would dominate today?

What about all the respected posters who claim zone defense and weak officiating for big men would reduce him to merely being "good"?

Has that reduced Anthony Davis, Griffin, Aldridge? Are you saying they are better than Hakeem?

Few teams actually play zone, because it doesn't work against 3pt shooting role players, which the Rockets had plenty of back in the day and now. I think you just mean no more Illegal Zone, which helps double teams. Double teams did not stop Hakeem, and they wouldn't now.

Plus, it makes Hakeem any even more devastating force on defense side of the ball.

post like this made me vote for you for 99er of the year.

Hakeem would dominate in any era.

After watching Dwight vs D'Andre , it was more apparent.

Oh, I agree. Was just tripping on how respected posters could claim he wouldn't, and still be respected.

Tell us 3-5 players that you would place your life savings on in a bet that said players would be able to make that move in a game.

Pau? Marc? LMA? None of them can even pull off the move as smoothly as a 52 year old Hakeem.
