Could we all please just fast forward one week? Can we agree on this together? Tired of waiting...

I hope we pull of multiple trades if we're going to make a splash.

I guess no other wants to give up a superstar for anything the rockets have to offer.

I seriously cannot believe the Thabeet love on this board

The due is a BUST... I rather have Deke come out of retirement than give Thabeet a chance..

Don't take a chance on this guy because all he has is height.. If there was a glimmer of upside on this guy I would be all over it...

Hmmm.....Anthony Randolph? Stephen Curry?? Hasheem Thabeet?? The list of players with "more upside" than the ones we have is long, and plentiful. I just wonder if it's anybody that will actually make a difference. Bottom line is we need a superstar, and an inside presence. Guys with high upside usually take 2-3 years to develop, and honestly, we already have Ish Smith, Terrence Williams, Chase Budinger, Patrick Patterson, and even Courtney Lee who ALL fall into that category. I trust Morey to do what's best for the team, but I'm also tired of acquiring asset after asset without being able to turn them into a tangible difference-maker. I still stand by my original assessment that we are at least one more off-season away from getting a real superstar though, so by acquiring more attractive pieces this deadline, we can move closer to getting an All-Star on this roster.

Interesting name, I was reading a chat over at ESPN maybe a month ago and his name came up as being available in the right deal. I don't know if that has changed with Philly on a roll and he does appear to have improved over his crappy start.

Please no more one sided players. Have enough of those. We need some guys that can play both ways .

The more I think about it, the more I feel it has to either be Shane, the Chuck Wagon or AB0. Shane and Chuck have little upside but still provide rather consistent play. The upside comment leads me to believe we want a high risk high reward type of player (or high reward low risk, but those types of players aren't on sale right now). Those three players don't seem to fit the more "upside" model...

If all three of those players are still Rockets after the deadline, I will gladly put $10 in the tip jar because of how wrong I am.

I just wish Denver made a move already with Melo. It's holding up trades for the rest of the NBA. I still think Morey will have a hard time striking a big deal because most NBA teams, from what I read, are worried about the CBA.

I think the real question is... is Les willing to take on long term contracts? If he's willing to do that, I think Morey can make something happen. Either way, there will be at least one move...
