Why quote ESPN, when you can quote the Official Rockets Update via Clutch. :)

13 Games from now till then. The contenders include:

    Philadelphia
    Toronto
    Denver
    Utah
    OKC

    The rest:

    Lakers
    New York
    Orlando
    Pellies
    Phoenix
    Sacramento
    Dallas
    Timberpups

What should we expect? 7-6? 8-5?

I took it as the Team doctors recommended surgery as an option and he wanted a second opinion to decide.

i never saw any mention of surgery in the initial report the morning after so just assumed they were going to wait for it to heal without surgery.....but who knows

Feigen's tweet makes it clear that surgery was on the table early.

And MDA seems to also say surgery was likely prior to second opinion

You think Capela read cfnet and was worried about team doctors lying or incompetence for giving him too optimistic of a diagnosis. From my seats, athletes usually want to rule out surgery, not seek it.

    thx never saw these tweets

thought i had read that 4-6 weeks was without the surgery, but with surgery would only be 4-5 weeks so he was just trying to come back quicker by looking into the surgery option on his own

Out of all the injuries probs most minor. Back, lower extremity for a center would be the worst. He’ll be fine

Things like this is why you run a long rotation and try to develop your youngsters early on and throughout the season...

you can run a long rotation by design... or wait, and do it out of necessity...
