Well, that's sad to hear. He's one of my favorite players.

It shows you how good Chris Paul is. Paul can play some respectable D. He's led the league in total steals 5 times. Yes Paul is a slow paced ball dominator but it works to great results.

Irving should be the best offensive scoring PG, better than D Rose, Deron, Westbrook.

Remember how we all blasted Cleveland for picking Dion so early? Seems they did everything right, kid's a stud.

That's a privilege of being #1 draft pick and ROY.

Does it matter though? MVPx2 Nash never could play a lick of defense either.

I got Irving on Fantasy and he's just been a killer so far this year. I don't think there will be a sophomore slump. Dude's a baller and his defense will improve over time as he will start understanding when and where he needs to expend more energy.

Cavs are looking like the OKC when they first moved from Seattle.

Stud Top Pick : Durant / Irving
Surprise Pick : Westbrook / Waiters (Westbrook wasn't expected to go that high but became a stud in the NBA)

Who will they pick next year? Another surprise who will take a little longer to develop then become 6th man of the year???
Then traded to the Rockets and blow up?

I cant put my finger on it but Kyrie Irving is a weird point guard man. He's good, but he's different from the rest of the pack somehow. Controls the game yet doesn't disrupt/control the flow.

45 and 21 is more of an aberation, 28 & 24 from Uncle Drew and Waiters is more plausible and realistic.. sick backcourt in cleveland, Im jealous.. mainly jealous about Uncle Drew, Waiters not so much

Uncle Drew and the Beard would destroy the league, BUT Lin is just fine

pretty much.. he and Rondo.. except Uncle Drew has elite shot making skills that will set them apart.. what other young PG in the game has a more complete skillset?

Thank goodness. When LBJ left I thought we'd be stuck in the cellar of the NBA for another long drought.

At least these guys are entertaining and certainly have the potential. Plus we've got the most cap space of any team, so things could get more interesting.

What you need is a younger Varejao with shut down interior defense + athletic wing defenders who can finish on the break.

Plus a lot of teams are rebuilding quickly through the draft nowadays: OKC/Chicago/Cavs/Memphis...

Kyrie needs to get in the weight room & focus on defense. Defense is effort & desire, he has to want to do it. When Kyrie commits in the weight room & on defense, he'll be elite.
