Sadly.... it is. Reality is, there aren't a lot of Halloween classics, especially if you're trying to eliminate the true "horror/scary" genre. If you want more of a feel good, family style Halloween classic, what are your options? Not my choice, but in my family, Hocus Pocus is watched once a year, in October... bleh
The correct answer is Nightmare Before Christmas. Never seen Hocus Pocus; with the exception of Down and Out in Beverly Hills, Ruthless People, and 1 episode of Seinfeld, Bette Midler is a total no-go for me.
