They just interviewed Landry on Fox Sports News about getting his first start as a Rocket - since Scola was out for Clipper game, and day to day after that.

He must've been profoundly influenced by Yao Ming's heroics during game 1 last playoffs in LA...so he decided to do the same...

    What a hustler!!!

He won't be playing as Adelman said he won't. We shouldn't worry at all since Landry complements well to the team. He's I think the 4th or 5th leading 6th man in the league.

I'm sure my viewpoint is in the minority here, but I'm convinced that once Landry gets a chance to start, he will not relinquish his hold on it. It's been apparent for over a year now that his ceiling is much higher than Scola's. His jumper is absolute money and his post game has increased by leaps and bounds in a very short time. It is no stretch to believe Carl has allstar potential.

If only he played defense and could rebound at the same level.

Luis has a better instinct for rebounding, yes, but Carl has the ability to improve in that area. Defensively, I don't see that large of a desparity between the two. All in all, I think Carl's the longterm solution at the 4...though I'm glad at this point to have them both.

Fully agree, and also, I will wait until the scouting reports from opposing teams start focusing on him a little more, then we will know if he deserves to play ahead of Scola.

What's Adelman's problem? Scola says he can play but Rick and the organization are saying he cannot? I don't get why the Rockets organization is lying and purposely holding out its only "closer."
