    That's the problem with his MVP candidacy. We're poised to have two players at a high level this season. They may cancel each other out and neither one of them gets it ...(ahem, on their way to a 60 win season and deep playoff run).

    Howard would need a more complex offense to become MVP candidate. He could, but unfortunately he won't get that needed contribution from coaching.

    If he had a 20/15 2.5 blk season it could happen. Will be tough being the #2 offensive weapon on a team

    The rockets need win around 58 games for Howard to be a real MVP candidate, I think it is too hard for the team to do it in West.

    Dwight can average 25+ a game if he commits to P&R with Harden on the floor and dominating in the post when surrounded by the second unit shooters (Terry, Daniels, Papa). We really don't have an obvious third scorer since CP25 and Lin are gone. I figure Harden and Dwight should both bump their scoring up a few points.
