The Rockets are on Chris Bosh’s "radar." They are trying to get in the room. Bosh met with Rockets general manager Daryl Morey in Dallas late Wednesday night and also had preliminary talks with representatives from the Raptors, Heat and Bulls. He then flew to Chicago, where his agent Henry Thomas is based to begin meetings that Thomas characterized as more substantial than the initial conversations in Dallas. Morey worked to get on that guest list, too, while also beginning recruiting efforts with a potential backup center, Bulls free agent Brad Miller Talks with Bosh, however, seemed to stall, with Thomas quickly downplaying the importance of the meeting Morey did get with Bosh. "They (the Rockets) dropped something off to him and chatted briefly," Thomas said. "They will be on the radar." Morey described Bosh as enthusiastic and interested, and his own recruiting efforts as more than just delivering a package. Bosh, however, described his sessions in Chicago, rather than the meeting in Dallas, as the start of the process. He met with the Heat and Nets, and after the late-afternoon meeting with Miami team president Pat Riley and former star center Alonzo Mourning,

." Bosh also met with representatives of the New Jersey Nets, and will meet with Bulls representatives, today. The Heat and Bulls are considered the front-runners to sign Bosh. While both teams try to land LeBron James, the Heat can offer Bosh a chance to play with Dwyane Wade and a reconstructed team, and the Bulls offer chance to play with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah. The Knicks will meet with Bosh and Dwyane Wade today in Chicago. The Rockets did, however, get one meeting in Chicago on Thursday, with Rick Adelman going to dinner with Bulls center Brad Miller, who played for Adelman in Sacramento. Miller, who has visited with Rockets coaches before games between the teams and every summer in Las Vegas, also met with Cleveland Cavaliers representatives. The Rockets have not made an offer. "We’ve talked conceptually," Miller’s agent, Mark Bartlestein said. "We’ve talked about the concept of what we want to do. "It (Miller’s history with Adelman) definitely plays a role. He has great respect for Rick. I think it (the meeting) is Rick trying to talk about vision, talk about Brad and his role there. "Anything can happen fast, sure. I don’t know we’ll see. Let them get through the night and then Daryl and I will talk, tomorrow." Morey hopes those will not be the only conversations he has in Chicago.

This is bad ... Morey still trying just to Present to Bosh .. Bosh should have shown some interest by now.

By tomorrow , focus will move to Amare.

I had a feeling that the Morey meeting was more of a pre-emptive strike to make sure Bosh was interested before setting up meetings with his agent. It also gives the Rowdies more time to catch up to DM in Chi.

All in all, you know any Morey presentation could be delivered in 20 minutes. Look for him to get a Saturday or Monday meeting.

Although this article doesn't sound positive, I am sure Bosh and his agent are going to meet officially with all the teams that could sign him outright first. The S&T suitors will have to wait and keep their fingers crossed.

wow this just decreased my hopes
bosh isn't even taking houston seriouusly...and if he really wants the six year s&t he should come to houston,plus houston is a great city, it has the deepest bench in the nba ...Chris Bosh : "I want to be the main guy on the team "...if he wants to be the main guy then he shhouldn't sign with chicago or miami and be in the shadows of dwayne wade

I don't think it's over, by any means. The agent said the Rockets will be on the radar, which means they made some impression on Bosh in that 20 minute meeting. Now, it's up to Bosh to decide if he wants to have a longer meeting with the team.
