You think it's a coincidence that the Rockets get a huge video screen right after Chandler Parsons become face of the franchise? Obviously pandering to female fans.

Giant Parsons face for the win!

It's because of the All Star Games.

Definitely not, it's because Parsons is now the face of the franchise.

Of course. Since when do the Rockets have anyone in All Star games? No way Les wastes all that money in order to show a bunch of non-Rockets players for one night in 2014.

Your acting like CP3, Wade, Deron, Kobe & LBJ won't be there. Yes Lin & hopefully one of the rookies will be there but so will other much talented players.

that is nice and all but with the annoyance of having to listen to Clyde & Bill (no disrespect to Worrell but with Clyde there's 0 chemistry and makes him hard to listen to as well, Calvin would keep him in check in a fun way though), the move to Comcast and having more options with replays and stuff on the video screen doesn't really do justice. Also we still have to look at an empty arena and hideous uniforms, not to mention a somewhat lame court design. They should go back to the 03-04 colours which they changed to a darker red / changed the lighting which it made it look terrible.

Picture this sequence: a great introduction video by Comcast with the obligatory bad music on the big screen. Afterwards or maybe even during you hill Clyde laughing and saying "wow" followed by how nice it looks, reminding us how expensive this must have been, that this separates Mr. Alexander from other owners because he's willing to spend. Bill of course agrees and during the game they go into all the nonsense surrounding the all-star game this year, why we got it, what upgrades have been made.

Obviously they will start talking about how the team has 'upgraded'. Lin, Lamb, D-Mo, Jones & White will all be all-stars in clyde's opinion, Morey is excellent and they will start coming up with lame nicknames like 'lintastic, lambchop, d-macaroni, tee G & rolls royce'. During the games Clyde will say that Lin is top 3 and better than whoever all-star PG he has to guard. They will constantly say the wrong name, spout random crap that the other will 80% go unnoticed but when noticed, the other can't take criticism very well.

It's time for some1 to lay down the line and have a script that both have to stick to the whole game, even a list with words they are not allowed to say like "bang", "hehehehe", "seal(s)", "cookie" etc. Or just have Calvin back so he provide the real entertainment that will make a game actually entertaining. He will bring some excitement through what should be a frustrating season with all the losses. The fancy outfits, the crazy lines, the excitement when there's great basketball being played and of course the chemistry. Last year when we had those games against OKC & LA he would've gone crazy over those shots and comebacks!! If only :)

Yall are missing the.point the Rox are going Dallas cowboys style. Bot having the Biggist screen in there sport in their arenas. And with the Rox having the all star game here, all the.all stars will see where they could play and could entice them to want to sign here in the future. We are competing with stadiums like msg and the Boston garden that have huge player impact when it comes to why they want to sign there. I think this is a really good idea and I believe it will draw all star level talents toward the Rox when it comes to free agency and trades. That's the one thing morey can't do is sign all stars but he can draft.

Dumbass, star players have to want to come here, plus they get more money to re-sign with their current teams, plus the Rockets aren't even paying for the majority of this.
