DUI and DWI are becoming normal these days, which is sad.

I believe it probably was, and he was probably over the limit, just a general comment.

Vegas casino and Sacramento Kings owner arrested

By OSKAR GARCIA, Associated Press Writer Oct 11, 3:00 pm EDT

LAS VEGAS (AP)—The owner of the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, whose family owns the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, said he spent Saturday night in jail after being arrested near his home on suspicion of drunken driving.

George Maloof Jr. was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Saturday near Spanish Trail Country Club, where he lives, police said Monday.

Maloof, 46, told The Associated Press he was driving home with his assistant from a friend’s wedding at The Mirage hotel-casino about six miles away.

Maloof said the assistant asked him to drive.

“I just didn’t think I needed her to drive—I should have had her drive— because I didn’t drink that much,” said Maloof.

First Landry not doing well the court, now Mario Elie getting in trouble off the court.

The city of Sacramento is cursed as far as former Rockets are concerned.

Cops will use any excuse to pull you over after midnight just to see if you have been drinking.

Make sure your lights work.. even the license plate light.

I don't go to bars anymore but when I did, I don't think I ever once came across a designated driver. Lord knows, my dumb ass and idiot friends didn't. Does anybody really even do that? Not saying the practice doesn't exist...but be real, it's a rare thing.

If you drink alcohol, astronomical chances are: you drink and drive...or at least have in the past. Not sure how it's become socially acceptable to drive to a local pub and put back a few shots of mind/attitude/perception altering poison...but smoke a bowl at home and you're a criminal. Disgusting.

Don't blame him. He's probably depressed about the Landry rumors.

DUI for a guy who aspires to be an NBA head coach?

    That's a kiss of death.

Why haven't people caught on to carrying mustard packets if they insist on drinking and driving?

i don't condone it, but damn man... at least try to be slick bout it.
