This sucks for Conroy. He played well but Cook and Dorsey had guaranteed contracts so they get to stay. I can't believe the Rockets will have 7 power forward and centers on the roster not including Yao. They better hope Brooks or Lowry don't get hurt because their isn't other player on the roster who could play PG until T-Mac comes back.

 

man if we cut pops he would have gotten picked up so quick. the rockets know that there is a very chance that conroy will still be available when we trade/waive barry, cook, or dorsey.

makes a lot of sense.

 

if brooks/lowry get injured, we waive barry or dorsey and scoop up conroy. he will most likely be available. if he isnt, temple sure will be.

its a smart move.

 

Read and you'll realize that the word cut implies they're waiving Conroy, not ditching Pops.

 

Good move. We needed Pops much more then we needed a 3rd pg

 

Terrible move. We needed a 3rd PG much more than we needed a 7th and an 8th C/PF. Two of which are worthless and will only see the floor in garbage time.

Dorsey and/or Cook should have been moved/waived.

Conroy won't be there when we need another PG. I'm sure we can always pick up Rick Brunson or Rod Strickland again, though.
