Texans running back Steve Slaton is expected to miss Sunday's game against Jacksonville because of numbness in his arms.

The numbness is a result of a previously undisclosed shoulder injury. Coach Gary Kubiak did not completely rule out Slaton, but the fact he did not practice Friday makes it unlikely he will play.

"It's something he has been dealing with for awhile but it's gotten worse in the last 24 hours," Kubiak said.

Left tackle Duane Brown, who suffered a knee injury against the Colts, went through practice and is expected to play.

Could this have been a factor in his fumbling problems this season?? And isn't it weird how things seem to snowball after demoralizing losses?

If he has been playing the whole season with this shoulder injury, it definitely seems like it might have been a factor.

Damn. There goes my Fantasy football playoff chances. Win I'm in, lose and I'm out. Back up running back = Cadillac Williams or Larry Johnson. :(

I am not the biggest Chris Brown but he was solid last week. I would like to see a little Arian Foster on Sunday. He had over 1500 total yards from scrimmage in the SEC as a Junior.

    Doesn't matter

You guys aren't going to run on Jaguars defense, but you can pass.

In other news, the whole Texans team, it seems, has been placed on IR.

    Apparently, they're lacking a pulse.

You were going to rely on SS to carry you into the playoffs? Too bad you didn't get into the fresh back lotto a few weeks ago: Cartwright, Forsett, Charles, Snelling.

Thank you Clutchfans....I have Forsett, Stephen Jackson, Turner (INJ), and Ronnie Brown (INJ)...with Forsett being declared Q, I was cursing til I got on this site and saw Slaton was out.

Granted, Chris Brown isnt the messiah, but he's better than my next FA options, Chris Jennings from CLE, Ward from TB, or Brown from IND. Cursed 12 team leagues...

I've got no more moves. :(

No, I also have Maroney and Steven Jackson. SS was going to give me at least 10 points, and I really need those points. Not looking good for me. Oh well.
