Good article by Feigan on Shane and Ron... I would imagine Hayes may get a shot at James, too.

Does that mean Aaron Brooks won't get the chance to duplicate his lockdown D on King James? :(

Here's hoping we still see it somehow.

It should be a great match up. I was actually thinking about this earlier how Artest at least has the sheer physical bulk to stand his ground. LeBron definitely isn't used to that. Hopefully, that bodes well for us and he's able to stay out of foul trouble.

It should be a fun, alternating match-up...if LBJ's jumper is on target, can't do much.

I hope Yao has a monster game and the refs don't fall for BS fouls!

I wonder if Rudy Gay can defend LBJ.

Lebron is arguably the hardest guy defend in the league( besides kobe), but if any team were able to shutdown King james, or at least slow him down, it would have to be us. We've got 2 premiere perimeter defenders and chuck hayes can chip in a bit as well, so if Lebron can somehow still manage to have a 30+ game against us with efficient shooting, then there is nothing in this league that can stop him.

Still though, I fear Lebron alot less than I do Kobe.

Nah, he's too busy making commercials about playing with his drawstring and telling his teammates to not pass him the ball rather than just doing the sensible thing by calling a timeout. I'd venture to say anybody that thinks this type of airheaded story is cool and commercial-worthy isn't smart enough to figure out how to defend the league's most dominant player.

Now THAT would throw Lebron off his game. I love the idea, at least until Aaron gets a concussion

    lockdown D?

I don't know about you, but I don't want to see Aaron Brooks get dunked on on SportsCenter.

The Grizzlies held Lebron to 15 pts. his last game. Im not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

On one hand, it shows he's human.

On the other hand, he could be itchin to unleash a truckload of whoop-ass on us to make up for his last game.

Yao also should be itchin to unleash a truckload of whoop-ass on them since the last time they played the Cavs defenders were flopping all over the place and Yao was not even allowed to play by the refs.

Since when does Battier use his Brute strength to defend a player?

:D Sorry too early to be at work and too bored.

Anyways, The Rockets need to return the favor after the travesty some would call a "fairly reffed basketball game" last time around. Heres to Yao welcoming the CAVs to Houston with a little hostility.

Here's hoping the refs don't hog-tie Yao until the middle of the 4th quarter like last game, or let King James get everything he wants for Christmas.

Being a Cleveland road game, the Cavs might not get their home cooking---I also saw the Wizards nearly beat Cleveland on the road for Christmas, until the refs threw a monkey wrench into that idea and discombobulate the Wiz in the home stretch.

We'll see how much I wind up screaming at the screen.

    I hope so.

Yao needs to go play some pick up games at Fonde to cut his teeth some more, he's still too passive.
