With Nene being another year older, who gets the back C minutes?

Chriss without a doubt. Got him in time before training camp and can just do the same thing Clint has been doing. Catching lobs and running coast to coast.

I also think Chriss but I voted for Cheese because he has more potential on Defense.

Chriss Cheese. Would be formidable combo. Just play whomever.

I love the framing. Nene is definitely the 3rd big now. Who will be used vs traditional/ Bigger bigs.

I like Qi a lot and I think he will have the better long term future at 5 but right now I think he will play a little more at 4.

Is this even a question to consider?

Will you take Chriss over last year's Black? in a heartbeat.

Will you play Black ahead of Hartenstein and ZHou Qi? Not a doubt.

Play Chriss at the 5 and Qi at the 4. Chriss has more of leaping ability than Qi. You actually can rotate those two between the 4 and 5.

Chriss might be tradable for at least a SRP if he gets his act together. Would be great if he responded to Capela's work ethic.

Well, Chriss at the 5 and Qi at the 4 is the eventuality that we all want, but we're living with today.

I don't think that either guy can play these positions right now. To me, Qi looks super uncomfortable at anything other than the 5, and though Chriss has been a big disappointment in general, he's been even worse when forced to cover anything other than the 4. But hey, maybe MDA can work wonders.

Is the question really "who should get more meaningless minutes when the game is out of reach?"

QI reversed is IQ, which Chriss has a reputation of lacking. Zhou ha also been showing good things this summer.

from what I read Chriss actually misses a lot of lobs, I dont know how that's even possible give his height and athleticism. Must be pretty bad Bball IQ wise

he's the new stromile swift. morey just kicking the tires but i doubt paying him next summer is in the rockets long term plans.

this trade was about getting a better contract that is easier to flip with a first round pick. ryno for johnson would've put miami for the LT or force us to take on waiters. knight for johnson is even salary wise so throwing them a FRP and maybe a second should be closer to getting a deal done.
