Wow. His description of his thought process starting at 5:00 is pretty mind-blowing for me. It's impressive he can go through and nix so many scenarios before making the right read in a split second. Thanks for sharing.
I think Carl is trolling, but without CP3 making the right passes in crunch time, OKC loses this game. Shai and DS played great but I don't think it would have been enough without Chris. He does a lot for the team that doesn't show up in the box.
CP3 gifted floor seats for tonight's game vs. Memphis to this family for their funny Christmas photo.
Chris with 25/11/8 in a clutch win against Toronto without some of their best scorers (Toronto was shorthanded, too).
Few people expected them to make the playoffs. But they are sitting at the 7th place, with a comfortable lead ahead of the 8th team. That said, CP's injury is like a timed bomb waiting to be set off. It happened every season in the past 4 or 5 years.
I get and agree with the fear of the injury with Paul. But at the same time the guy we traded for is taking back to backs off because of an injury and has actually gotten hurt quite a few times himself in his career. And his style of play is wild, erratic and balls to the wall that some would say gives him a decent chance of reinjury. I think it’s fair to say that OKC, so far, has clearly won this trade. Injuries will likely ultimately decide the winner and I honestly think it could go either way.
What a time for Canadian basketball. SGA is an All-Star already. I kinda hope Clippers get punished for that trade by not winning ****.
From a statistical point cp is more efficient and better IQ, but I said this before we had our sample last year of what the tail end of his elite career and the results. He didn’t perform in any game in that GS series outside of game 6. You need a guy that can go nuclear outside of harden (cp3 did in his first playoffs w/ us) and WB can do that, he also brings the athleticism, rebounding, better Assists, Pace and constant pressure that far exceeds what CP can bring. Both have positives and negatives and overall both could possibly equal out each other however one is also 34 vs 31 on similarly huge contracts and one has missed over 20 games in each season over the last 2.
It's good to see CP3 doing well, best scenario for both is that both shine which is what happening right now...can we just enjoy that please?
