Why Morey is so patient to make a trade?

All I have to say is when Anthony Davis said he'd choose legacy over money. I wish Chris Paul would have had the same mentality and taken a little less so we could've have built a better team around him so that his "legacy" would have had a better chance at competing for a ring. Now his greed has solidified him and our team to not competing for the next 3.5 years.

Unless Morey performs a miracle then we would've wasted hardens prime.

The only non wasted year in hardens prime was last year. But, that's also the year that Chris Paul made around 24 million and we had money to acquire players.

The problem is, CP put Morey in a really tough situation, if we low ball him or ask for a discount, our reputation around the league will look bad. If we let him go, you lost all the assets you gave up for him. I think Morey decided to sign him and just go from there, I think he can trade him (it’s gonna he hard though) not an easy task.
