You don't mess around with a knee injury, even if it's just a bruise. Especially with a player who's had knee surgery before. Let him rest.
what exactly is injured here? you can't play contact sports, especially basketball, without getting incidental hits all over. harden drives into the paint into 3 guys dozens of times a game. ariza fights thru picks nonstop. they're not sitting out 10-15 days for everyday contusions. this is mental not physical, it just comes down to some players playing thru this minor stuff while others need everything to feel 100%
Harden and Ariza also have little-to-nothing left in the tank by the end of the season. I respect their willingness to play through injuries and fatigue, but I think the plan this season is to let the key guys rest occasionally and make sure they're fully healthy come playoff time and aren't worn down from heavy minutes.
Exactly. MDA himself said that Harden was aggressive in going after the MVP, I don't think they'll make that mistake this season.
Really hope James exercises some sense and gets some rest (ala Kawhi) this year. Chase the MVP after you win the ring bro.
Sadly I see this being a trend this year for Paul. I mean he's only played one full season in his career and is getting older... I'm terrified of us giving him the super max
Look, D-Mo just has a sore back. He slept on it wrong. BREAKING: D-Mo to undergo back surgery. Career over. Look, Chris just has a sore knee. He's day to day. BREAKING: Rockets traded for Chris Paul, instead got broken down Cliff Paul BREAKING pt. 2: Chris Paul to undergo knee surgery. Out for season.
I dont think its too bad, rockets are just veing cautious especially with an easier schedule to start the season
Get us a new third guard Morey. Guys should be lining up for the opportunity to be the first guard off the bench (for the next month) on a playoff team.
I wouldn't give a **** if he's out till New Years. I would only care if it was past all star break I'm ready for E.G. to take over anyways
