How is that possible? If he's 6'0 barefoot and has a 6'4.25 wingspan how is it possible that his standing reach is so low? The only way that could be possible is if Paul had a REALLY long neck and head...which he doesn't appear to have...

    I'm 6'0.5 barefoot with a 6'1-6'2 winspan and I have a 7'11 standing reach barefoot.

Don't they measure standing reach while the player is wearing shoes? Even if they don't, I still can't see why CP's standing reach is so low.

Is standing reach measured with both arms above your head or just one (because with just one you can reach at least 1 inch higher).

Is standing reach always measured in shoes?

Could Chris Paul's measurements be just a bit overestimated, in some dimensions more than others? You know what they say about NBA players whose dimensions are overestimated.

They punch other people in the groin, that's what.

Stereotypes aside, I was in Taiwan recently and I regularly saw 6 footers among the younger folks.

Must be the GH-infused cow meat that we've been exporting...

Its bs, all the NBA measurements are exaggerated. i don't understand why they do it and how they get away with it. I've stood right next to paul, he is about 5'9/5'10 literally

    Yeah two reasons:

    1. CP3 might be 6'0 barefoot
    2. CP3 wasn't measured correctly. These tests are one and done, if you didn't stretch as much as you can you'll get docked couple of cms. Its another sport but Brandon Spikes of the Patriots recorded a slower time in a sprint test than he does in the field wearing pads. That doesn't make any sense, just goes to show you how inaccurate these things are.

    You mean importing right?

I find it hard to believe that players' barefoot heights are exaggerated. Most players' draftexpress listed barefoot heights are up to 2 inches less than their NBA listed heights. You're trying to tell me those draftexpress barefoot heights are exaggerated too?

I've always heard of them adding inches to the NBA heights and you can see inconsistencies in pictures etc that just don't add up, I don't know why for some of htem its wrong but all i know is I stood next to the guy, he is not 6 foot or even 5'11, plain and simple, it wasn't even doubtful. I don't know why they want to add 2-3 inches to the guy, i think its jsut damn impressive to do what he does with his body type shows what a brilliant player he is
