With training camp looming in a few months. I was thinking, which Rocket has the most to prove in order to petition for the lion's share of the minutes. This eason, we show to have similar players vying for the respective minutes...giving Coach A somethinn to think about.

    Players like:

    Steve Francis

    Luther Head

    Steve Novak

    Aaron Brooks

    Luis Scola

    Kirk Snyder

    Bonzi Wells

    Chuck Hayes (RFA)?

He does have something to prove, but not compared to the rest of our roster which includes several rookies who have never played in the NBA. That's why I voted for Scola because I think he will earn the starting PF spot.

Kirk Snyder will have to give everything hes got if he wants to play for the Rockets.

Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola will probably do really good as well.

Jeff Van Gundy might show up with his rocket uniform......

JVG: Hey LES, how about giving an old friend one more chance

    LES Alexander: Security!

JVG: Wait, come on....I'll even start practing offense in practice

Yao: You heard him, get the f**k out!

I would be giddy if Brooks continues playing like a star right into training camp and the season despite the other one's vying to play in front of him. The kid seems to have a lot of confidence so if that continues I expect him to make some sort of impact.

I voted for Brooks. I don't think he'll get "the lion's share of the minutes" at his position, but if he cracks the rotation right off the bat, that would be huge. I think he has a chance.

Brooks is a little beast. He may be the "purest" pg we have, too.

My guess is neither Scola or Brooks offer much this year. Perhaps Scola late. I expect Bonzi to have an impact. He has the most to prove.
